Chuck Versus the Unresolved Ending
Anyone who followed Chuck knows the show was often on the brink of cancellation. I was grateful we got five seasons and 91 episodes, and especially glad the creators had the opportunity to bring the series to the ending they intended rather than having the story abruptly cut short by cancellation.
When I watched the final episode, I immediately decided that the kiss would cause Sarah's memories to return and that she and Chuck lived happily ever after. But as a writer, I also saw the enormous potential that ending on a cliffhanger created.
Fans have been hoping to see Chuck and Sarah back together for years. On The Kelly Clarkson Show, Zachary Levi said, "I was trying to make the Chuck movie even before we finished making the TV show." More than 14 years have passed since the series ended, and the movie still hasn't happened.
I understand why fans want that movie, but I also believe there's another way to continue the adventures of Chuck, Sarah, and Team Bartowski.
Chuck Novels
Many beloved television series have continued through original tie-in novels, telling new adventures with the characters fans already know and love. Firefly, Psych, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Star Trek, Doctor Who, The X-Files, Stargate SG-1, and Burn Notice have all expanded their worlds through books.
I'd like to add Chuck to that list.
I'm developing a twenty-book continuation of Chuck, with each book conceived as an episode of what would be the sixth season. The stories would bring back the humor, espionage, friendships, romance, and unexpected adventures that made the series special, while exploring what might happen next in Chuck and Sarah's lives.
I've outlined the imagined sixth season on this site, and I'll be sharing my thoughts on the original episodes, fan theories, memorable music, and the progress of this project along the way in my Blog.
My long-term hope is to find a path to official publication through the rights holders. Until then, this is an independent fan-fiction project—and a way to explore the stories I believe Chuck still has to tell.

About This Project
I'm a longtime Chuck fan and a writer who wasn't ready to say goodbye to these characters. You're Still My Chuck grew from my belief that the story was intended to continue beyond its finale and my desire to explore what those next adventures might look like.
